ummm...i don't understand the humor in the link? unless it's funny that NWC has her speak practically every year?
the beacon, oh the beacon...man, I used to read that all the time a few years ago. Somehow, though, I noticed the same issues start popping up and I gradually knew less and less people...now it's effectively dead in my mind :(. Sad to see the conclusive end of an era. I now know nobody other than professors, staff, and younger siblings at NW.
Yeah, the humor is that she comes several times a year every year, not what she's doing. At the Beacon we'd get frustrated with what to do with it every time -- run the same old blurb or nothing at all.
